• Friday/Saturday department hours
  • currently 11am - 4pm
  • several of us dislike using up an entire Saturday; would prefer hours to span only morning or afternoon
• IDEA ed.gov "stuff" = Jo Monahan would like it captured and findable through the library catalog
  • does education liaison add this to catalog?
  • does GovDocs add this to the catalog?
  • does GovDocs archive this in the CyberCemetery? will it then be findable in the catalog--is this a federated search issue?

• copy of our DARTS information (handout)
• minimum cataloging guidelines
• department hours
• staff schedules for summer
• staff phone numbers
• directions on using phone: forwarding calls, checking messages, forwarding voicemail

Campus & Community Outreach

• opportunities like the FEMA flood assistance (4/24/07); we ought to be the ones providing this information to the campus at large, and making this information visible on our floor
• "First Flight" and other student orientation programs... GovDocs taking an active part in library outreach?
